LYCOMING WOMEN’S LACROSSE DROPS GAME AT MESSIAH

GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team traveled to Messiah College, Tuesday afternoon, for a Middle Atlantic Conference contest. The Warriors could not match the Falcons offensive firepower, falling 3-23. Lycoming drops to 3-6 overall and 1-5 within the conference. Messiah improves to 9-4 and 5-1.

Lauren Evangelist (Sr./Perkiomen, Pa.; Boyertown) led the Warriors with two goals. Kristen Dart (Jr./Saratoga, N.Y.; Saratoga Springs) added one score. Laurie Rooney (Sr./Audubon, N.J.; Audubon) made nine saves in goal for Lycoming.

The Warriors will play again on Thursday, April 15, when they host the University of Scranton. The opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m.
