WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFEATED BY SCRANTON
SCRANTON, PA –
The Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team traveled to the
University of Scranton, Saturday afternoon for a Middle Atlantic
Conference contest. The Warriors struggled to hang with the Royals
for most of the game, falling 24-4. Lycoming drops to 2-4 overall
and 2-3 in the MAC. Scranton improves to 6-1 and 4-0.
Erica Likens
(So./Bel Air, MD; Bel Air)
led the Warriors with three goals in the game. Ashley Rowe
(So./Fairfax, VA; W.T. Woodson) accounted for Lycoming’s
fourth goal, and Lauren Evangelist (Jr./Perkiomen, PA;
Boyertown) recorded an assist.
Laurie Rooney
(Jr./Audubon, NJ; Audubon)
made 15 saves in goal for the Warriors.
Lycoming will
look to rebound on Tuesday, April 8, when they travel to Wilkes
University.
