WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFEATS ELIZABETHTOWN
ELIZABETHTOWN, PA
– The Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team won their second
consecutive conference contest, Wednesday afternoon, defeating
Elizabethtown College 11-7. The Warriors are now 2-1 overall and
2-0 in the MAC. The Blue Jays fall to 3-1 and 2-1.
Ashley Rowe
(So./Fairfax, VA; W.T. Woodson)
was Lycoming’s leading scorer with five goals in the game. Sarah
Gibbons (Sr./East Hampton, CT; East Hampton) and Erica
Likens (So./Bel Air, MD; Bel Air) each added two scores, while
Lauren Evangelist (Jr./Perkiomen, PA; Boyertown) and Karyn
Wright (Sr./Schenectady, NY; Schenectady) each scored one.
Evangelist also recorded two assists.
The Warriors will
play again on Saturday, March 29, when they travel to Widener
University for another conference match-up.
