WARRIOR WOMEN’S LACROSSE DOMINATES FDU-MADISON

MADISON, NJ – The Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team traveled to FDU-Madison, Saturday afternoon, for their first Middle Atlantic Conference contest of the season. The Warriors controlled the action throughout the game, racing out to a 9-3 lead at halftime en route to a 13-3 final score. Lycoming improves to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.

Lauren Evangelist (So./Perkiomen, PA; Boyertown), Ashley Rowe (Fr./Fairfax, VA; W.T. Woodson), and Erica Likens (Fr./Bel Air, MD; Bel Air) tallied four goals apiece for the Warriors. Natasha Simchak (So./Nesquehoning, PA; Panther Valley) added the squad’s other goal.

Colleen Clarke (Fr./Folsom, PA; Cardinal O’Hara) picked up the victory in goal for Lycoming.

The Warriors will travel to Elmira College on Monday for their next contest.
