LYCOMING’S EVANGELIST NAMED MAC ALL-STAR FOR WOMEN’S LACROSSE

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Lycoming College sophomore Lauren Evangelist (Perkiomen Valley, PA; Boyertown) has been named a Middle Atlantic Conference second-team all-star for women’s lacrosse.

Evangelist was the Warriors’ leading scorer in 2002 with 32 goals and nine assists for a total of 41 points. She also led the team with 72 ground balls, 50 draw controls, and 43 caused turnovers. Within the conference, Evangelist led the league in draw controls, ranked second in caused turnovers, eighth in ground balls, and 10^th in goals per game.

As a team, Lycoming went 7-8 overall and 4-4 within the MAC during the 2002 campaign.
