Cooper Named Player of the Week
Lycoming Guard Scores 41 Over Two Games

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming sophomore Andrea Cooper (Hollidaysburg, PA) was named Freedom Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for her recent performances against Misericordia and Elizabethtown.

On Tuesday, November 11, Cooper scored 13 points and blocked three shots in Lycoming’s victory over Misericordia. She then sealed the deal with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists on Sunday versus Elizabethtown. In total, Cooper hit 15 of 27 shots, including 6 out of 10 three-pointers. She also converted 5 of 7 foul shots and grabbed 10 rebounds.

As a freshman, Cooper was the Lady Warriors’ top scorer (319 points/13.3 ppg) and second-leading rebounder (156/ 6.5 rpg) for 2005-06. See her in action this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Lamade Gymnasium as Lycoming faces Drew.
