Lycoming Beats Misericordia
Four Lady Warriors in Double Digits

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming (2-1) overcame the College Misericordia (1-2) on Tuesday night, 72-68. Four Lady Warriors scored in double digits as the team rallied from a halftime deficit to win.

Rebecca Leid (Denver, PA) led all scorers with 21 points. She shot 100% from the free-throw line and from beyond the arc. Leid also pulled down 10 rebounds, the game’s highest total. Lycoming’s other big scorers were Jessica Zerbee (Duncansville, PA), Andrea Cooper (Hollidaysburg, PA) and Brittany Knopp (Allenwood, PA), who scored 19, 13 and 11 points respectively.

The College Misericordia played tough in the first half and led 32-25 at halftime. But the Lady Warriors found their shooting touch and used strong defense to grab the win. Zerbee kept the defense honest with her perimeter game. The freshman sank 5 of 7 three-pointers, freeing up the middle for Leid.

Lycoming faces Elizabethtown on Sunday afternoon, November 26 at 3:00p.m. at Lamade Gymnasium.
