Women Lose to King’s
Eleven Lady Warriors Score in Defeat

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming’s women’s basketball team (5-11, 0-5) fell to King’s College (11-5) on Wednesday night 64-42. Head coach Christen Ditzler played eleven different players for more than ten minutes.

Rebecca Leid (Denver, PA) led the Lady Warriors with nine points, while fellow frosh Amanda Clouse (State College, PA) grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Brittany Knopp  (Allenwood, PA) hit a pair of three-pointers for six total points.

King’s led at the half 23-18, but poured it on in the second period thanks to 11 second half points by center Andrea Hochstuhl. The 6’ Hochstuhl had 19 points and 17 rebounds on the night. The Lady Monarchs’ Jenna Palumbo finished with 14 points.

The Lady Warriors host Delaware Valley on Saturday afternoon at 1:00. The Freedom Conference contest will be followed by a men’s game.
