Lady Warriors Fall to Lincoln
Mock Leads Lycoming with 12 Points

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa.—Lycoming’s women’s basketball team lost to a red-hot Lincoln squad on Monday night, 75-62. The Lady Warriors led at halftime 35-32 on six three-point shots.

Freshman Allison Mock (State College, PA) scored 12 points on four three-pointers. She and Brittany Knopp (Allenwood, PA) hit a combined seven threes on the night. The Lady Warriors scored the game’s first seven points and led for much of the first half. But it wasn’t enough to outlast Lincoln’s Tanina Cook, Asha Atkinson and Mary Rotimi, all of whom chalked up double-doubles for the game.

Cook recorded 13 of her 19 points in the second period as the Lady Lions roared back to their fourth straight victory. Lycoming’s Andrea Cooper (Hollidaysburg, PA) notched 11 points and six rebounds on the night, while Rebecca Leid (Denver, PA) grabbed eight boards. Michelle Wisla (Schwenksville, PA) dished out six assists.

The Lady Warriors return home on Wednesday night to face Freedom Conference foe King’s at 6:00 p.m. The game will be followed by a men’s contest.
