Women's Basketball

LADY WARRIORS RUN WIN STREAK TO THREE

MADISON, NJ. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team won their third consecutive game and evened their conference record at 3-3 with a 67-57 victory over Drew University Wednesday evening. The Lady Warriors shot just 31% from the field, but forced 28 turnovers by the Rangers en route to the 10-point win.

Lyndy LeVan (So./South Williamsport; South Williamsport) was the game’s leading scorer with 15 points. She also pulled down eight rebounds. Freshman Emily DeMarco (Voorhees, NJ; Eastern) contributed 12 points on the strength of three three-point field goals. Jenalynn Boos (Sr./Roseto; Pius X) posted her second consecutive double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lady Warriors improved their overall record to 7-6 with the victory. Drew drops to 5-8 overall and 0-6 in the Freedom Conference. Lycoming will host FDU-Madison this Saturday at Lamade Gymnasium at 1 p.m.
