LADY WARRIORS DROP ROAD GAME

MADISON, N.J. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team had their season come to an end, Saturday afternoon, with a 75-65 loss at FDU-Madison. The Lady Warriors’ record falls to 12-12 overall and 6-8 within the conference. FDU improves to 14-10 and 6-8.

Lycoming shot just 29% from the field in the first half, digging themselves a 34-26 hole at the half. Their shooting improved in the second half, but the Lady Warriors were unable to overcome 26 turnovers in the game, eventually falling by 10.

Sophomore Lyndy LeVan (South Williamsport; South Williamsport) led Lycoming with 17 points and nine rebounds. Laurie Scherer (Jr./Mahanoy City; Mahanoy) added 13 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots. Senior Adrienne Wydra (Ashland; North Schuylkill) scored seven points, grabbed eight rebounds and tallied six assists.
