LADY WARRIORS ROUT CEDAR CREST

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team took a break from conference action to travel to Cedar Crest College, Monday evening. All 14 Lady Warriors found the scoreboard as Lycoming dominated the Classics en route to a 90-50 victory.

The Lady Warriors carried a 12-point lead into the half and then scored 52 points in the second half to pull away from Cedar Crest. Lycoming caused 28 turnovers and held the Classics to just 28% shooting from the field.

Sophomore Lyndy LeVan (South Williamsport; South Williamsport) made 11-of-13 field goals and scored 25 points to lead the Lady Warriors. She also grabbed seven rebounds. Jenalynn Boos (Sr./Roseto; Pius X) added nine points and six rebounds, while Katie Santo (Jr./Scotch Plains, NJ; Union Catholic) chipped in eight points.

The victory evens Lycoming’s record at 11-11 overall. The Lady Warriors will return to Lamade Gymnasium on Wednesday evening for their final home contest of the season. They will host Drew University at 6 p.m.
