Women's Basketball

LYCOMING WOMEN’S BASKETBALL DEFEATED AT DESALES

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team traveled to DeSales University, Wednesday evening, for a Freedom Conference match-up. The Warriors struggled to keep pace with the Bulldogs, falling by a score of 41-84. Lycoming drops to 5-10 overall and 1-5 in the conference with the loss. DeSales improves to 13-4 and 5-2.

The Warriors were led by Stacy Lindeman (Jr./Whitehall, Pa.; Whitehall) who came off the bench to score 13 points and grab seven rebounds. Christi Groller (Fr./Catasauqua, Pa.; Catasauqua) added eight points and Amy Kile (Jr./Muncy, Pa.; Muncy) chipped in seven markers.

Alyssa Antolick and Amanda Kuperavage each scored 14 points for the Bulldogs. Kuperavage also pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds. Holly Liebl added 13 points.

Lycoming will return home for their next game on Saturday, January 29, when they host Drew University. Tip-off is at 6 p.m.
