LYCOMING WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FALLS TO FDU-FLORHAM

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team hosted FDU-Florham, Thursday evening, for a Freedom Conference showdown. The Warriors led by as many as six points midway through the second half, but could not hold on for the victory, falling 55-65 to the Devils. Lycoming drops to 7-16 overall this season and 3-10 within the conference. FDU improves to 14-10 and 6-7.

Amy Herschman (Sr./Northampton, Pa.; Northampton) led the Warriors with 10 points and eight rebounds. Danielle Kern (Jr./Lehman, Pa.; Lake-Lehman) and Stacy Lindeman (Jr./Whitehall, Pa.; Whitehall) both came off the bench to contribute nine points each. Kern also grabbed six rebounds. Mindy Culp (Sr./New Columbia, Pa.; Milton) added eight points, four rebounds, and three assists.

The Devils were led by Pamela Sagehorn with 24 points and six rebounds. Jessie Chalmers added 12 points. Katie Daly came off the bench to chip in nine points and six assists.

Lycoming will play their final game of the season on Saturday, February 19, when they host DeSales University. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Lamade Gymnasium.
