LYCOMING WOMEN’S BASKETBALL DROPS NON-CONFERENCE GAME TO TCNJ

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team traveled to Elizabethtown College, Saturday afternoon, to compete against the College of New Jersey in the first round of the Blue Jay Classic. The Warriors trailed by seven points at halftime and could get no closer in the second half, falling by a final score of 58-51. Lycoming slips to 3-5 overall. TCNJ improved to 7-2.

Mindy Culp (So./New Columbia, PA; Milton) led the Warriors in scoring with 21 points. Lyndy LeVan (Sr./South Williamsport, PA; South Williamsport) added 14 markers while grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds.

Lycoming will play Elizabethtown, Sunday afternoon, in the consolation game of the tournament.
