came back from a 15-point, second-half deficit to stun the
Mountaineers with an 82-75 victory. Lycoming improves to 3-1 with
the win. Mansfield falls to 3-5 on the season.
The
game was back-and-forth for much of the first half, but a 17-5 run
by the Mountaineers over the final five minutes of the period gave
then a 45-33 cushion at the break.
Mansfield
maintained the advantage in the early part of the second half,
stretching their lead to 15 with 12:57 to play. Little did either
team know that the Warriors would go on to outscore the visitors
36-14 the rest of the way.

Grove, Pa.; Pine Grove), a lay-up by Katy Kresge
(Sr./Lehighton, Pa.; Marian Catholic), and a pair of free
throws by Mindy Culp (Jr./New Columbia, Pa.; Milton) that
cut the Mountaineer lead to eight. Over the next eight minutes,
Lycoming continued to whittle their deficit down to two with three
minutes to play.
The
Warriors took their first lead of the second half when Emily
DiMarco (Sr./Voorhees, N.J.; Eastern) drained a three-pointer
with 1:07 left on the clock to put Lycoming ahead 76-75. DiMarco
would add four free throws and Culp would add another two free
throws as the Warriors went 6-for-6 from the charity stripe in the
final minute to secure the win.
Culp
was the game’s high-scorer with 17 points in the game. DiMarco
contributed 13 markers and six rebounds. Stacy Lindeman
(So./Whitehall, Pa.; Whitehall) added 11 points and five
rebounds, and Pugh chipped in 10 points to go along with five
assists. Danielle Kern (So./Lehman, Pa.; Lake-Lehman) was
Lycoming’s leading rebounder with seven boards in the contest.
Mansfield
was led by Stephanie Reiser (Jr./Barnegat, N.J.; Southern
Regional) with 13 points. Rachel Reider (Sr./Cranberry
Township, Pa.; Seneca Valley) and Alison Tagliaferri
(Jr./Linden, Pa.; Jersey Shore) each added 12 points and
