WARRIOR WOMEN’S BASKETBALL SUFFERS FIRST LOSS

DALLAS, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team suffered their first loss of the 2003-2004 season, Tuesday night, at College Misericordia. The Warriors fell to the Cougars 76-63. Lycoming led early in the contest but a 10-2 run by Misericordia midway through the period gave the home team a lead they would not lose. The Warriors fall to 2-1 on the season, while the Cougars improve to 2-1.

Stacy Lindeman (So./Whitehall, Pa.; Whitehall) was Lycoming’s leading scorer with 15 points in the contest. Mindy Culp (Jr./New Columbia, Pa.; Milton) added 10 points and six rebounds. Sabrina Catrambone (So./Birchrunville, Pa.; Springfield) chipped in nine points and a team-high five rebounds.

The Warriors will play again on Sunday, November 30, when they host Division II Mansfield University. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
