WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PICKS UP CONFERENCE ROAD WIN
MADISON, NJ –
The Lycoming College women’s basketball team traveled to FDU-Florham,
Saturday afternoon, for a Freedom Conference match-up. The
Warriors used a dominant second half to pull away from the Devils
for a 69-55 victory. Lycoming is now 7-7 overall and 2-2 within
the conference. FDU falls to 5-7 and 0-4.
The Warriors and
Devils played even through the first 20 minutes of the contest,
heading into the intermission knotted at 36-36. Lycoming, however,
controlled the second half, shooting 44% from the field to FDU’s
19% to outscore the home team 33-19 over the final 20 minutes.

led all scorers with 22 points, including a trio of
three-pointers. Freshman Sabrina Catrambone (Birchrunville, PA;
Springfield) came off the bench to score 11 points on 4-of-6
shooting from the field. Lyndy LeVan (Sr./South Williamsport,
PA; South Williamsport) recorded a double-double with 10
points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Michelle Stine (So./Mill
Hall, PA; Central Mountain) led the squad with six assists.
The Warriors are
in action again on Wednesday, January 22, when they travel to
King’s College. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
