WARRIOR WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FALLS AT KEYSTONE

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team traveled to Keystone College, Monday evening, for a non-conference contest. The Warriors fell behind by nine points in the first half and could not catch up in the second half, falling to the Giants, 63-68. Lycoming drops to 4-3 on the season, while Keystone improves to 3-0.

Sabrina Catrambone (So./Birchrunville, Pa.; Springfield) and Stacey Lindeman (So./Whitehall, Pa.; Whitehall) each scored 10 points to lead the Warrior offense. Lindeman also led the team with eight rebounds, while Catrambone added seven boards. Rebecca Pugh (So./Pine Grove, Pa.; Pine Grove) recorded a game-high five assists and added eight points.

The Giants were led by Nicole Zapolski with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Bobbie Arvonio and Julie Lasher each added 14 markers.

Lycoming will now take a break for the holidays and will return to action on January 2, 2004, when they travel to Lebanon Valley College for a weekend tournament.
