LYCOMING WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FALLS AT DESALES
Has Season Come to an End

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team traveled to DeSales University, Saturday afternoon, for their regular season finale. The Warriors entered the game needing a victory or some help to earn a berth in the conference tournament. They got neither, falling to the Bulldogs, 52-63, while Wilkes University upset Drew University to knock Lycoming from the playoffs. The Warriors finish the 2003-2004 campaign with a mark of 15-10. DeSales improves to 21-4 and as the number two seed will host King’s College in the semifinals of the Freedom Conference tournament.

Rebecca Pugh (So./Pine Grove, Pa.; Pine Grove) led the Warriors with 19 points off the bench. Amy Kile (So./Muncy, Pa.; Muncy) added eight points, and Mindy Culp (Jr./New Columbia, Pa.; Milton) led the team with eight rebounds.

The Bulldogs were led by Alyssa Antolick with 24 points and Amy Yencho with 13 points.
