WARRIOR WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FALLS IN OPENER

FROSTBURG, Md. – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team traveled to Frostburg State University to compete in a tip-off tournament, Friday evening. The Warriors fell to the host Lady Bobcats, 65-73. Lycoming will face Hood College in the consolation game of the tournament, tomorrow afternoon.

Amy Herschman (Sr./Northampton, Pa.; Northampton) led the Warriors with 14 points in the game. Freshman Colleen Wade (Hatboro, Pa.; Hatboro-Horsham) added 13 points. Danielle Kern (Jr./Lehman, Pa.; Lake-Lehman) pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds for Lycoming.

Frostburg was led by Tracey Little with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Kelly True chipped in 16 points and 10 boards.
