LYCOMING WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PICKED FOURTH IN PRESEASON COACHES’ POLLS

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Middle Atlantic Conference has released the preseason coaches’ poll for the upcoming basketball season. The Lycoming College women's basketball team has been picked to finish fourth in the Freedom Conference.

The Warriors received 33 points to rank behind King’s (59), Scranton (57), and DeSales (52) in the poll. King’s and Scranton each received four first-place votes.

Lycoming’s women return eight players from a season ago, including their top three scorers in Lyndy LeVan (Sr./Williamsport, PA; South Williamsport), Emily DiMarco (Jr./Voorhees, NJ; Eastern), and Mindy Culp (So./New Columbia, PA; Milton). LeVan, a first-team all-conference selection last season, averaged 16 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. DiMarco chipped in 9.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest, and Culp averaged 7.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game as a rookie.
