WARRIOR WOMEN'S BASKETBALL LOSES HEARTBREAKER TO TRINITY

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Lycoming College women's basketball team concluded a holiday trip through Texas by challenging Trinity University, Wednesday evening. The Warriors nearly upset the Tigers but the host team hung on for a 49-47 victory. The loss drops Lycoming's record to 4-7 on the season. Trinity improved to 7-4 with the win.

Amy Lesko (Sr./Mountain Top, PA; Crestwood) led the Warriors in scoring with 15 markers. Tara Stepanchick (Sr./Lavelle, PA; North Schuylkill) add 12 points while leading the team in both rebounds with eight and steals with five. Lyndy LeVan (Jr./South Williamsport, PA; South Williamsport) also reached double-digits with 11 points in the contest.

Lycoming will return to conference competition for their next game when they travel to Drew University on Wednesday, Jan. 9.
