WARRIOR WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FALLS AT DESALES

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Lycoming College women’s basketball team traveled to DeSales University for a Freedom Conference match-up, Saturday afternoon. The Warriors fell behind by 10 points in the first half and never recovered as the Bulldogs went on to win 80-66. Lycoming is now 5-10 overall and 2-4 within the conference. DeSales improves to 10-4 and 4-2.

Lyndy LeVan (Jr./South Williamsport, PA; South Williamsport) led the squad with 17 points in the game. Emily DiMarco (So./Voorhees, NJ; Eastern) added 13 points in addition to four steals. Laurie Scherer (Sr./Mahanoy City, PA; Mahanoy Area) grabbed eight rebounds, blocked four shots, and tallied nine markers to lead the Warriors’ inside game.

Lycoming will be on the road again for their next contest, traveling to the University of Scranton on Wednesday evening.
