Lycoming Battles Moravian, But Falls 3-2                   

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—The Lady Warriors (15-11) battled Moravian College (15-11) for five sets before a crowd that included visiting alumni for homecoming weekend. Lycoming won the first and fourth games, but dropped the fifth, 15-13

Seniors Cassie Kapson (Towanda, PA) and Lindsey Artz (Hegins, PA), playing their final regular season games at home, led the Lady Warriors with 17 and 14 kills respectively. Heather Frantz (Pine Grove, PA) notched her second straight double-digit kills total. Frantz killed 11 on the day and 17 versus King’s on October 18. Artz also compiled a team high 30 digs.

The volleyball team plays at Delaware Valley on Tuesday night at 7:00. Lycoming will likely host the first round of the Freedom Conference Playoffs on Wednesday, November 1. Stay tuned to this website for more information.
