Volleyball Playoffs Come to Lamade                                Lady Warriors Take On FDU-Florham in the Semi-Finals

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Volleyball is the lone Lycoming sport to reach the 2006 fall postseason. With their second place finish in the Freedom Conference, the Lady Warriors host FDU-Florham on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:00 p.m. in Lamade gymnasium.

Lycoming beat the Lady Devils during the regular season, but FDU has rallied of late and expects to challenge the blue and gold. Seniors Lindsey Artz (2005 Freedom Conference Player of the Year) and Cassie Kapson plan on bringing the Lady Devils back to earth.

Come out and support the hometown team as they take the first step to a Conference Championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Playoffs. The gym will be rocking and ready to help the Lady Warriors beat FDU. The winner will go to the Conference Finals on Saturday, November 4.

If Lycoming wins, all eyes will be on the other semi-final, Scranton versus King’s. This contest will then decide if the finals are held in Williamsport or Scranton.
