WARRIOR VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Lycoming College volleyball team hosted FDU-Florham, Wednesday evening, for a key Freedom Conference contest. The Warriors defeated the Devils in three straight games by scores of 30-24, 30-24, and 30-27. The victory improves Lycoming’s record to 14-8 overall and 3-2 within the conference. FDU falls to 20-5 and 2-2. The win also secures the Warriors’ position as the number three seed for the conference playoffs.

Kelli Watson (So./East Freedom, PA; Central) led Lycoming with 14 kills and five blocks in the match. Layne Haverstock (Jr./Hesston, PA; Huntingdon) added eight kills and three blocks. Seneca Reilly (So./Athens, PA; Athens) led the team with 39 assists, and Jessica Held (Sr./Allentown, PA; Parkland) led the squad with nine digs.

The Warriors will travel to Carnegie Mellon University this weekend to compete in a tournament.
