LYCOMING’S HAVERSTOCK NAMED TO ALL-FREEDOM CONFERENCE VOLLEYBALL TEAM

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Lycoming College junior Layne Haverstock (Hesston, PA; Huntingdon) has been named a member of the All-Freedom Conference first team for volleyball.

Haverstock led the Warriors in both kills and blocks this season with 369 and 149, respectively. She also recorded 199 digs and 46 service aces during the season. Haverstock’s 4.01 kills per game and 1.61 blocks per game also led the conference.

Last season, Haverstock was named the conference player of the year. Her freshman season she earned rookie of the year honors.

As a team Lycoming compiled a record of 17-11 and advanced to the conference championship match.
