WARRIOR VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS WILKES

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Lycoming College volleyball team hosted Wilkes University, Tuesday evening, for their home opener. The Warriors swept the Colonels in three straight games by scores of 30-13, 30-26, and 30-23. Lycoming improves to 5-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play with the victory. Wilkes falls to 5-7 overall and 0-1 in the MAC Freedom.

Kelli Watson (So./East Freedom, PA; Central) led the team with 16 kills in the match. She also tallied seven digs and three blocks. Layne Haverstock (Jr./Hesston, PA; Huntingdon) added 10 kills and four blocks. Seneca Reilly (So./Athens, PA; Athens) led the Warriors with 31 assists in the match.

Lycoming will be home again for their next match when they host King’s College on Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m.
