THREE WARRIORS NAMED TO ALL-CONFERENCE VOLLEYBALL TEAMS

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Three members of the Lycoming College volleyball team have been named to the All-Freedom Conference teams. Seniors Seneca Reilly (Athens, Pa.; Athens) and Kelli Watson (East Freedom, Pa.; Central) were both named to the first team. Sophomore Lindsey Artz (Hegins, Pa.; Tri-Valley) was named to the second team.

Watson, a second-team selection as a junior, has recorded 460 kills and 392 digs for the Warriors in 2004. She has also tallied 94 blocks, 27 service aces, and 19 assists. Watson ranked third in the conference in kills and fifth in blocks.

Reilly makes her third appearance on an all-conference team after earning first-team honors in 2003 and second-team honors in 2001. She leads Lycoming in assists with 1,071, while also contributing 187 digs and 47 service aces. Reilly holds every Warrior record for setting, including single-season assists with 1,328 in 2003 and career assists with 4,191 and counting.

Artz is Lycoming’s leader in kills with 575, blocks with 169, and service aces with 64. She also has recorded 330 digs and 25 assists. Artz also led the conference in kills and blocks, while ranking third in hitting percentage to earn her first all-conference award.

The trio has led the Warriors to their first conference championship and NCAA berth since the 1998 season. Lycoming enters the playoffs with an overall record of 16-19 and will face Eastern University in the opening round. That match will be played at Gettysburg College on Thursday, November 11, at 7 p.m.
