LYCOMING’S REILLY NAMED VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lycoming College senior Seneca Reilly (Athens, Pa.; Athens) has been named the Freedom Conference Volleyball Player of the Week after leading the Warriors to their fifth Freedom Conference Championship.

Reilly tallied 33 assists in a sweep of Wilkes University in the semifinals and recorded 58 assists in a five-game victory over FDU-Florham in the championship match. She also added three service aces, three kills, and 16 digs last week. For the season, Reilly has compiled 1,071 assists, 187 digs, 47 service aces, and 47 kills.

As a team, Lycoming is 16-19 overall, but was 5-1 in the conference during the regular season and won the conference tournament to earn an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Championship tournament. The Warriors will face Eastern University in the opening round at Gettysburg College on Thursday, November 11, at 7 p.m.
