WARRIOR VOLLEYBALL TO FACE EASTERN UNIVERSITY IN NCAA PLAYOFFS

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College volleyball team will travel to Gettysburg College, Thursday evening, to face Eastern University in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs. The match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.

The Warriors (16-19) earned their third trip to the NCAA playoffs by winning their fifth Freedom Conference Championship. They enter the tournament at the sixth seed in the regional bracket and will face third-seed Eastern (28-6) in the opening round. The winner will face number-two seed and host Gettysburg (28-5) who received a first-round bye.

The other first round match will feature Salisbury University (25-11) versus Frostburg State University (29-5). That match will be played at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. The winner will advance to meet top-seed Juniata College (32-3) in the second round.
