WARRIOR VOLLEYBALL DROPS A PAIR AT TRI-MATCH

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Lycoming College volleyball team traveled to the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Saturday afternoon, for a tri-match that included Lebanon Valley College. The Warriors suffered losses in both their matches, falling to Pitt-Johnstown 12-30, 16-30, 27-30; and Lebanon Valley 25-30, 26-30, and 28-30. The losses lower Lycoming’s record to 12-16 overall this season.

Lindsey Artz (So./Hegins, Pa.; Tri-Valley) led the Warriors against Pitt-Johnstown with 11 kills. Kelli Watson (Sr./East Freedom, Pa.; Central) added nine kills. Jana Reitz (Sr./Waynesboro, Pa.; Waynesboro) led the defensive effort with 26 digs. Seneca Reilly (Sr./Athens, Pa.; Athens) recorded 26 assists.

Versus Lebanon Valley, Artz again had a team-high in kills with 15. She also led the squad with 18 digs. Reilly compiled 37 assists and 17 digs.

Lycoming will be at home for their next match when they host the University of Scranton on Wednesday, October 20. The match will begin at 7 p.m. in Lamade Gymnasium.
