WARRIOR VOLLEYBALL BOUNCES BACK
AT DELAWARE VALLEY
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. –
The Lycoming
College volleyball team traveled to Delaware Valley College,
Tuesday evening, for their first Freedom Conference match of the
season. The Warriors needed just four games to defeat the Aggies
by scores of 30-19, 23-30, 30-12, and 30-21. Lycoming improves
to 3-4 overall and 1-0 in the conference. Delaware Valley falls
to 0-4 and 0-1.
Kelli Watson
(Sr./East Freedom, Pa.; Central)
led the Warriors with 17 kills in the match. Lindsey Artz
(So./Hegins, Pa.; Tri-Valley) added 16 kills. Seneca
Reilly (Sr./Athens, Pa.; Athens) recorded 42 assists and six
service aces. Jana Reitz (Sr./Waynesboro, Pa.; Waynesboro)
tallied a team-high seven digs.
Lycoming is
in action again on Thursday, September 16, when they travel to
Penn State-Altoona.
