LYCOMING VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS
CONFERENCE MATCH
MADISON, N.J. –
The Lycoming
College volleyball team traveled to FDU-Florham, Tuesday
evening, for an important Freedom Conference match. The Warriors
proved up to the challenge, sweeping the Devils in three games
by scores of 30-28, 30-25, and 30-25. Lycoming improves to 4-1
within the conference with the win and 12-14 overall. FDU falls
to 2-2 and 21-5.
Lindsey Artz
(So./Hegins, Pa.; Tri-Valley)
led the Warriors with 17 kills and seven blocks in the match.
Kelli Watson (Sr./East Freedom, Pa.; Central) added 14 kills
and four blocks. Jana Reitz (Sr./Waynesboro, Pa.; Waynesboro)
led the squad defensively with 19 digs. Seneca Reilly
(Sr./Athens, Pa.; Athens) returned to the court after
missing five matches due to an injury and recorded 37 assists in
three games.
Lycoming
will take a break from conference competition this Saturday,
when they travel to the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
