WARRIOR VOLLEYBALL TAMES BULLDOGS

CENTER VALLEY, PA – The Lycoming College volleyball team traveled to DeSales University, Tuesday evening, for a Freedom Conference match. The Warriors needed just three games to defeat the Bulldogs by scores of 30-27, 30-15, and 30-23. Lycoming improves to 13-3 overall and 3-0 within the conference. DeSales falls to 9-11 and 1-1.

Jana Reitz (Jr./Waynesboro, Pa.; Waynesboro) and Lindsey Artz (Fr./Hegins, Pa.; Tri-Valley) each recorded 14 kills to lead the Warriors. Artz also led the squad in blocks with five in the match. Layne Haverstock (Sr./Hesston, Pa.; Huntingdon) added 13 kills while tallying a team-high 34 digs. Seneca Reilly (Jr./Athens, Pa.; Athens) recorded 42 assists in the contest.

Lycoming will travel to Clarion University on Friday and Saturday, October 3-4, to compete in a tournament.
