LADY WARRIOR SWIMMERS FALL TO JUNIATA WITH SMALL SQUAD

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – With the Middle Atlantic Conference championships just over two weeks away, the Lycoming College women’s swimming team took a partial squad to Juniata College, Wednesday evening. The Lady Warriors fell to the Eagles by a score of 123-79.

Lycoming claimed three individual winners in the meet. Andrea Rapach (So./Pittsford, NY; Mendon) won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of :28.58. Karen Turpin (Fr./West Windsor, NJ; Princeton) placed first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:12.82. And Kristen Campbell (So./Camp Hill; Cedar Cliff) swam a 1:15.53 to win the 100-yard backstroke.

Both the men’s and women’s teams will travel to Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday, Feb. 7 for their final meet prior to the MAC Championships on Feb. 15-16.
