SWIM TEAMS COMPETE IN SECOND DAY OF MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
SCRANTON,
Pa. – The Lycoming College swimming teams have now completed 12
events each through two days of competition at the Middle Atlantic
Conference Championships. The men’s team sits in fourth place in
the team competition with 172 points. Widener leads the men’s
championship with 374 points. Lycoming’s women’s team is in
fifth place with 138 points. Albright leads the women’s
competition with 287 points.
A.J. LeViere (Jr./Pittsburgh; Monsignor
Bonner)
led the Warriors by placing 2nd in the 100-yard
backstroke and 3rd in the 200-yard freestyle. Greg
Brown (Jr./Mechanicsburg; Cumberland Valley) also placed in
the 100-yard backstroke, finishing 6th.
The
women’s team claimed two top six finishers. Kristen Campbell
(So./Camp Hill; Cedar Cliff) came in 3rd in the
100-yard breaststroke; and Jess Amadore (Fr./Easton; Wilson)
placed 6th in the 100-yard backstroke.
Sunday,
February 18 will be the final day of the championships.
