WARRIOR WOMEN SWIMMERS FALL TO JUNIATA

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Lycoming College women’s swimming team suffered their first loss of the season, Thursday afternoon, in a non-conference meet versus Juniata. The Warriors did not take a break from the training prior to the meet, while the Eagles came in well rested, resulting in a 120-85 victory for the visiting team. Lycoming and Juniata are now both 3-1 on the season.

Rebecca Fox (So./Middletown, NJ; Middletown South) and Karissa Brown (So./Chemung, NY; Waverly) were the Warriors’ top performers in the meet. Fox won the 1000 freestyle in 11:29.18. Brown won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:05.33. Lycoming also won the 200 free relay, swimming a time of 1:44.81.
