WARRIOR SOFTBALL GOES 2-1 DURING FIRST DAY OF EARLY BIRD INVITATION

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Lycoming College softball team opened the 2003 season, Friday afternoon and evening, at the Early Bird Invitational hosted by Methodist College. The Warriors got off to a solid start, winning two-of-three ballgames in round-robin play. Lycoming shutout York, 6-0, and defeated St. Joseph’s, 15-3. The Warriors lone loss came against Methodist by a score of 2-0. Lycoming will resume play tomorrow with their first game against Lynchburg College.
