MADISON,
NJ—Drew men’s tennis won its 51st consecutive Freedom
Conference match, by beating Lycoming 8-1.
Lycoming’s only victory
was by its top doubles team consisting
of senior Mike Byerly (West Milton,
PA/Lewisburg) and junior John Scarangello (Wallingford,
CT/Sheehan). Byerly and Scarangello won 8-5 over Anthony
Tunnero and Jason Woods.
In singles,
the Warriors were swept by last year’s conference team champion.
Lycoming takes the court again on Thursday, April 5 against
King’s. The contest is a home match at Bruce Henry Park at 3:00
p.m.
