Falls to Scranton
Byerly and Stutzman Win
Number-one Doubles
SCRANTON, Pa.—Lycoming’s men’s tennis team (0-6, 0-6) fell to
Scranton on Saturday by a team score of 6-3. Scranton (5-6, 2-4) had
previously been on a three-game skid.
Mike Byerly
(West Milton, PA)
and John Stutzman (Williamsport, PA) won number-one doubles
to start the match-up. But Scranton’s strong number-two team took
down Colin Baier (Montoursville, PA) and John Scarangello
(Nazareth, PA).
In singles, Byerly lost to the talented Scott Melideo, but
number-two Baier and three Stutzman each won their match. Freshman
Michael Henao (Dover, NJ) cracked the Warrior lineup for the
second time this year. Henao also played against Drew.
Saturday’s match
was Lycoming’s final regular-season contest.
