LYCOMING MEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO JUNIATA

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s tennis team traveled to Juniata College, Tuesday afternoon, for a non-conference match. The Warriors won the top two singles matches, but could not claim any other points falling to the Eagles, 5-2. Lycoming is now 1-5 overall this season. Juniata improves to 6-2.

Mike Byerly (So./West Milton, Pa.; Lewisburg) and Ryan Horsley (Jr./Allegany, N.Y.; Allegany Central) accounted for the Warriors’ two victories. Byerly defeated Brandon Long, 2-6, 7-5, 10-8, at first singles while Horsley topped Brian Sykes, 6-1, 7-6, at second singles.

Lycoming will return to conference competition on Saturday, April 16, when they travel to the University of Scranton.
