WARRIOR MEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO WILKES

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s tennis team hosted Wilkes University, Wednesday afternoon, for a Freedom Conference match. The Warriors won two singles matches, but ultimately fell to the Colonels by a final score of 5-2. Lycoming falls to 0-2 on the season, while Wilkes opens the year at 1-0.

Kyle Bartz (Jr./Stamford, Conn.; Ridgefield) and Peter Ruhl (So./Muncy, Pa.; Muncy) accounted for the Warriors’ victories. Bartz defeated Tony McClintock; 6-3, 6-2; at fifth singles. Ruhl topped Ben Howlitt; 6-2, 6-2; at sixth singles.

Lycoming will travel to FDU-Florham on Saturday, March 27, for their next match.
