TENNIS DEFEATED BY SCRANTON
WILLIAMSPORT,
PA The Lycoming College mens tennis team hosted the
University of Scranton, Saturday afternoon, for a Freedom
Conference match-up. The Warriors fell to the Royals by a score of
5-1, winning just one singles match. Doubles matches were not
played due to limited available time at the indoor facility.
Lycoming is now 0-3 overall and 0-2 against the conference.
Scranton improves to 2-4 and 1-2.
Bernardo
Urdaneta (Jr./Maracaibo, Venezuela; Bishop Neuman)
was the lone Warrior winner defeating his opponent at first
singles 6-7, 6-4, 6-0.
Lycoming is at
home again for their next match, hosting FDU-Florham on Wednesday,
April 9, at 3:30 p.m.
