WARRIOR TENNIS PLAYERS COMPETE IN MAC TOURNAMENTS

WILKES-BARRE, PA – Three Lycoming College tennis players traveled to Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Friday afternoon, to compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference individual singles and doubles championships. Junior Jason Mathews (North Wales, PA; Christopher Dock) was entered in the singles tournament, and seniors Andy Slawecki (Trappe, PA; Perkiomen Valley) and Colin Gabler (Camp Hill, PA; Trinity) joined forces to compete in the doubles tournament.

Mathews fell in the first round to Bill Neal of DeSales University by scores of 6-3, 6-1. Slawecki and Gabler also suffered a first-round exit at the hands of Jason Leach and Arvin Narula of Wilkes University, 6-1, 7-5.
