Lorenzet Named Player of the Week                                   Coach Kennell Eyes Record as Season Winds Down

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming freshman Chris Lorenzet (Forest Hill, MD) was named Freedom Conference Player of the Week for his four goal performance against PSU-Berks (10/16) and his two goal follow-up versus King’s (10/19). Lorenzet captures the honor just  prior to the men’s soccer team’s last home game of the season.

The Warriors host Baptist Bible on Wednesday, October 25, and then close out their    season at DeSales on October 28. Both games represent an opportunity for head coach Scott Kennell to become the winningest coach in Lycoming men’s soccer history.

Kennell was a two-time Umbro Regional All-American and All-Dixie Conference player at North Carolina Wesleyan. He holds Wesleyan's all-time record for single-season goals and total points. He has been Lycoming’s head coach for seven seasons and currently has 65 wins.

The Warriors final home game is this Wednesday at 3:00 at Shangraw Athletic Complex. It also represents the home finale for the team’s seniors.
