Lycoming Can’t Break Through At Drew The Warriors Keep It Close, But Fall 3-0 MORRISTOWN, N.J.—The visiting Warriors (3-7-3) could not overcome a sharp first period by Drew (6-5-1). With the halftime score 2-0, Lycoming gave up a goal in the second period to go down 3-0. Junior goalkeeper Ryan Humphreys (Boonton Township, NJ) was able to stop four shots in the contest, but a single score would prove to be the difference as Lycoming was unable to capitalize on nine shots, six of which were blocked by Ranger goalkeeper David Brigandi. Sophomore Paul Boucher (Hauppauge, NY) and freshman Chris Lorenzet (Forest Hill, MD) each had two shots on goal for the Warriors. Lycoming had two corner kicks in the second period, but could not convert. The loss drops the Warriors to 3-7-3 on the season. They will be in action again on Monday, October 16, against Penn State-Berks at the Shangraw Athletic Complex. |
