Warriors Win Big on Senior Day                                             Eric Stickel and Dan Jackson Recognized

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—The men’s soccer team celebrated its Senior Day in style, cruising to a 5-1 victory over Delaware Valley Sunday. The Warriors’ only seniors, Dan Jackson (Windsor, NJ) and Eric Stickel (Lansing, NY), were lauded after the game for their dedication and excellence over their four-year careers.

However, even on Senior Day, it was obvious that head coach Scott Kennell’s team is building for the future. All of Lycoming’s goals were scored by sophomores Matt Frey (Greensboro, MD), Tom McVey (Jamison, PA) and Joe Pusateri (Rockville, MD), with Frey securing a hat trick in the 46^th minute. Frey also added an assist on Pusateri’s header in the 88^th minute.

Lycoming demonstrated superior ball-handling and passing throughout the game, while junior goalkeeper Ryan Humphreys (Boonton Township, NJ) notched six saves.

The Warrior’s will need all-around excellent play this Wednesday, October 11, when they take on perennial powerhouse Messiah at Shangraw Athletic Complex. The Falcons are ranked 2^nd in the nation by both the NSCAA and D3kicks.com. This important match begins at 3:30.
