WARRIOR MEN’S SOCCER WINS FOURTH STRAIGHT WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s soccer team hosted Cabrini College, Saturday morning, for a non-conference tilt. The Warriors tallied a goal in the first period and made it stand up as the only score in the game for a 1-0 victory over the Cavaliers. The win was Lycoming’s fourth consecutive and they are now 9-3-1 on the season. Cabrini falls to 3-6-3. Jeff Kocher (Jr./Churchville, Md.; C. Milton Wright) recorded the Warriors’ goal just less than 18 minutes into the match off an assist from Eric Stickel (So./Lansing, N.Y.; Lansing). Jason Fesler (Sr./Carlisle, Pa.; Cumberland Valley) claimed the shutout in goal for Lycoming – his fifth of the season. Fesler made five saves. Andrew Brady was in net for Cabrini and made 11 saves. The Warriors will play again on Tuesday, October 12, when they host King’s College for an important Freedom Conference match. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.
